Human Centred COnservation

The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight of CASA. It is responsible for setting organisational policy, ensuring legal and financial compliance, managing risk, approving strategic plans and budgets, and overseeing the performance of management to safeguard the organisation's long-term sustainability.

 CASA Assembly is the highest representative body of the organisation, bringing together traditional kingdoms, community representatives, and members. It provides strategic direction, represents community interests, reviews organisational performance, and holds the Board accountable to ensure CASA remains responsive to the needs and aspirations of its membership.

Community Leadership, comprising kingdoms, traditional leaders, councils, and community representatives, serves as the bridge between CASA and local communities. It champions Human-Centred Conservation, mobilises community participation, identifies local priorities and opportunities, promotes equitable benefit-sharing, and supports the implementation of community-led conservation and sustainable development initiatives.

 The CASA Management Team, led by the Operations Officer (OO), is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organisation. Management implements Board-approved strategies, coordinates programmes and partnerships, oversees finance and administration, manages membership and stakeholder engagement, mobilises resources, and ensures effective delivery, monitoring, and reporting of CASA's activities.
